Wichita

Made it to Wichita today. Left for the Guangzhou Airport at 3 pm thursday and just got into Wichita at 9:30 pm Friday. I would like to apologize to anyone that had to sit near me for the trip. I stunk horribly for at least the last 24 hours of travelling, I think I had those cartoon stink waves coming off me.

Coming Home

Last day in Guangzhou today. Got Suzy's finalized US Visa today. We're leaving Guangzhou at 8am going into Beijing we leave Beijing and arrive back in the US at Sanfrancisco at 9 am. It will be around 7 pm before i get back to Wichita, So glad to be heading home.

Closer to Home

Three more days before we head home. Our visa application is being submitted to the embassy today so we should have Suzy's visa by Thursday. Things are going good, Suzy and I are getting along really well. Haven't been doing too much, just taking walks and naps.

Guangzhou

Arrived in Guangzhou at the Whit Swan Hotel friday evening. Saturday was a little rough we visited the medical clinic where Suzy had her immunizations. Six shots all together, she wasn't happy. We're doing good now, almost all the paperwork is done, all we're doing is waiting now.

Today was our last full day in Nanjing. Tomorrow we get Suzy's passport and onto Guangzhou.

Suzy

Got stuck in Beijing for an extra day because of a blizzard. Got out the next day by train and got Suzy that evening. The Adoption was finalized this morning. Suzy is officially ours. Suzy is a wonderful, happy little girl. Things are going great, can't wait to get her home.

Nanjing

We passed the the physical challenge portion of the trip, two full day tours of Beijing in freezing weather. We fly out of Beijing at noon today to Nanjing for the emotional and psychological challenge portion of the trip. Then we'll eat some bugs, and go on to tribal council, and after creating an alliance with Suzy emerge victorious.

Climbed the Great Wall. Visited the emperor's tomb. Bonny got into a fight at the government resturant/ vase factory over being shorted 3 beers. Bonny won.
